Side Street

Most of you know that I've been experimenting with water media recently, particularly, gouache. This is the 5th painting I've attempted in gouache, in fact. I'm really beginning to appreciate how water media works and I'm hoping to become more skillful as I continue down this journey.

This particular painting was inspired by the view of a street in downtown, Raleigh, North Carolina. It is actually a fairly major street, but I've entitled my painting, "Side Street" - 6" x 8" on watercolor paper.
